Function

Study of thermodynamics with regard to temperature, thermal equilibrium, means of heat transfer, specific heat capacity, latent heat of fusion, expansion, coefficient of thermal expansion, etc.
It may be used in a conventional way or temperatures may be monitored by a computer, when equipped with software, sensors and interface.
